About Me

cropped-wdpic.jpeg

Years ago I picked up my pen and wrote my first novel, which I now call my MFA That Won’t See the Light of Day. Then expanded my writing to include poetry, short stories and another working novel, which I’m determined will see the light of day.

While my blog posts have slowed down over time to allow for novel and short story writing, I will occasionally post. In my archives, you can find poetry, flash fiction, photography, humor, writing process posts, and anything in between.Ā I live in Arizona with my family, though we still call New York home, and I love to travel and hike.

Thanks for the visit!

A difficult question, Professor. I shy away from absolutes, unless absolutely necessary. Love them both, for different reasons. But hands down, I’m an Arizona girl, born and raised. Thanks for the visit.

You went and done it. You went and followed Uncle Bardie’s Stories & Such. You are now one of Uncle Bardie’s Band of Merry Followers. Just so you know, Uncle Bardie’s a hoot, and he’s got quite a few whoppers in his bag of stories. Some funny, some not so funny. But all told for your entertainment. Thank you for following his blog.

Hi, Jadi. I’ve actually been following you for years, it’s just my WordPress went nuts last week and unfollowed people randomly and didn’t allow me to view posts in my Reader. So I had to re-follow writers! I apologize for the confusion. I’ll make sure I have the right/new address for you. I always look forward to your posts!

Thank you so much, Don. I hope you’re well too! I’ve missed reading and blogging, but I’m trying to focus on my novel and every time I write a poem, I resist posting it so I can seek publication. I find I’m at a loss now on what to post! You manage it all so beautifully. Hopefully I just need a break and will find a way back to posting regularly. Take care and be well!
